First things first, the right tools are needed to perform the job. This includes an appropriate size Phillips screwdriver, wire strippers, and a set of Metra crimp connectors. Once all that's ready, the next step is to locate the factory wiring harness in the dash of the vehicle. This can be found on the passenger side near the floorboard.
From there it's a matter of identifying the speaker wires. The wiring scheme is fairly simple; the green and gray wires are positive, while brown and tan are negative.
